Pre & Post Care for Tinting
Before Your Appointment (Pre-Care)
To ensure the best possible tint results:
-
Best to arrive with clean, hydrated skin.
-
Do NOT apply self-tanner 24–48 hours before your appointment.
Self-tanner can oxidize with tint and cause unwanted warmth or discoloration. -
Avoid exfoliating the brow area the day of your appointment.
-
If you’ve had recent sun exposure or irritation around the brows, let me know beforehand.
After Your Appointment (Post-Care)
To maximize your tint longevity:
-
Let the tint fully set for 24 hours.
-
Gently cleanse your face around the brow area for the first 24–48 hours.
Avoid intensive scrubbing or cleansing directly on the brows/hairs. -
Avoid exfoliants, retinol, acids, and harsh skincare on the brow area for at least 48 hours.
-
The less friction and heavy oil exposure, the longer your tint will last.
